My background and qualifications.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor. I hold a Clinical Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and a Masters degree (MSc.) in Psychotherapy. Clinical means my training included a large amount of face to face client work (often with clients suffering from stress, anxiety, depression arising from trauma, abuse, family or personal issues and events) , and psychodynamic refers to how we interact with each other in ways often outside of our consciousness, and often shaped by our earlier lives.
Over the years I have also worked as a counsellor / therapist for mental health charities such as MIND, EACS, and MCPS. I still do some work for other business organisations alongside my private practice.
I am an accredited member of The United Kingdom Counsel for Psychotherapy (UKCP), an Accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am certified by The European Association of Psychotherapy.
I also hold other Master and Bachelor Degrees.
